PDF Document Management 8: Add PDF Header and Footer
A PDF header and footer present consistent information (For example: a date, page numbering, the title of the overall document, or author’s name) in the page margins throughout a PDF. A PDF footer appears at the bottom of a page. They can include automatically generated information and formatting.
This function adds PDF header and footer information that is used to present information, such as date, time, page numbers, or the title of the document, in the top or bottom margins of a document.
Note: If you need to add different sets
of PDF Header and Footer, you need to open your PDF inside PDFill for
different times and use this function each time.

Here are the steps on how to Add PDF Header or Footer in PDF Pages or Change the Properties for PDF Header or Footer:
Choose Document Menu > Header or Footer
or click Header or Footer Button
in the Document Toolbar.
Here is the dialog of Header or Footer's Properties:
Click the button to show Header and Footer onto PDF Page
Use the Preview Page option to see different pages of the PDF.
Use the three header text boxes and three footer text boxes, type the text that you want to appear in any of these locations, and then do any of the following:
To add automatic page numbering, click inside one of the header or footer text boxes, and click the Insert Page Number button.
To add the date of creation, click inside one of the header or footer text boxes, and click the Insert Date button.
To select formatting for automatic entries, select the Page Format or Date Format combo.
Note: You can combine text with dates and page numbers. You can also add several lines of text to an entry. Text typed in the Left, Center, and Right boxes appears left-aligned, centered, and right-aligned, respectively.
Font Properties: Select your preferences for the encode, name, embed, style, color, size, Underline or Strikethrough.
Margin from Edges: As needed, change the values in the Top, Bottom, Left, and Right options to adjust the margins within the header and footer, using the Preview to evaluate the results.
Pages Not Shown: Enter the pages that the header or footer is not shown. For example: 1, 6, 3-7, even, odd.
Page Offset: Add the page offset number to current page number and the total page count.
Transparency: The transparency of the text for the header and footer.
